Experience
I have been teaching since 2010 and am currently a 5th Grade Language Arts teacher at Duke School in Durham. Prior to working here, I taught in New York City in the public school system. I have taught first, second, and fifth grades in all subject areas, including special education. I've also spent time as a literacy tutor in a fourth grade classroom. Teaching is a great passion of mine and working one-to-one with students is a great way to focus on specific needs and skills, designing and implementing an individualized learning plan.
