Experience
Computer Science has long been a passion of mine. I love the creative potential and feeling of empowerment in writing your own programs. I started learning computer science on my own at a very young age, and have since built games and website (itsvirion.com, transcription-hub.com), gotten a computer science degree from Brown University, and worked at multiple tech companies, including Google. My main areas of focus have been web development and programming language theory. I also have experience TA'ing and helping design Computer Science classes at Brown, where I first got excited about teaching. I have some previous experience working with high school and college kids in Providence, RI where we moved from. I recently moved to Durham and am starting my own company, and am looking for some part-time work. I'm excited about passing on some of my knowledge to kids earlier along on their path. I'm still young, and hopefully more relatable than an older tutor - I definitely remember what it's like to be in high school and college. I'm looking forward to helping you with anything computer science or programming related, including high school classes, college classes, studying for the AP exam, preparing for a tech interview, or your own projects!

I'm a friendly guy that loves meeting all kinds of people. I'm an avid rock climber and I love climbing both indoors and outside when I can. I like playing games of all kinds, and also enjoy playing other sports like squash, tennis, and hockey. I'm fluent in Mandarin Chinese, enjoy juggling, and love playing music (drums, piano, guitar).
