I have a bachelor's in Biology and a master's in Computational Biology from the University at Buffalo. But Biology is not my only academic strength. I also completed three minors in Classics, History, and Math. In high school I had nine Advanced Placement subjects. I am comfortable tutoring any areas of math or science.I have four years of college tutoring and teaching experience. I have developed my own approach to tutoring that I am able to personalize for each individual. First, I like to set goals together at the beginning of each lesson so that I can find out exactly what you are struggling with. Then I address the idea or concept that you need help with. I have a special talent for making complex problems understandable. I can always find a different way to present the material so that you are able to grasp it. At the end of the session, I evaluate whether we met the goal for the day. This is important to me because I want to make sure that you got the result you were expecting, and customer service is a priority for me.In my free time, I enjoy movies, running, and Twitter.
