Experience
I've been tutoring ESL and French since 2007. During that time I also spent three years teaching ESL full time, in a classroom, in South Korea and Vietnam. I love tutoring foreign languages because I love learning them myself. Finding an elegant turn of phrase or a word that sounds like something ridiculous in our primary language are some of the highlights of language learning. It makes me really happy to see my students discovering these sorts of things in their language studies.

Hobbies
I love traveling more than anything. I've visited 17 foreign countries so far and can't wait to see more! I've also lived abroad in three of those countries: France, South Korea and Vietnam. When I'm not traveling, I like to do all sorts of things. I love cooking, especially international cuisine. Some of my favorite dishes are boeuf bourguignon (French beef stew) and dalkgalbi (Korean spicy chicken stir-fry). I also enjoy dancing, kayaking, hiking and bicycling. Did I mention I also like learning languages? I'm currently studying Korean!
