As an afterschool counselor last year I gained some tutoring skills by helping kids with their homework. Scored 1330 out of 1600 on SAT in High school. I want to be a tutor because I like teaching/ working with youth and I think I can help students out very much with support and knowledge and leadership. I have a big background in science. I am naturally good at math and enjoy math. I am also pretty good at writing and enjoy that as well. One of my biggest backgrounds is in athletics and therefore I think this gives me an advantage with athletic-minded kids because it is easier for them to relate to me.
