For four years while I attended the University of Kansas, I served as a tutor for a number of math and science subjects, including physics, calculus, and algebra. For two years during that time, I also worked as a private tutor, helping high school students in math topics like algebra and geometry. I am a well organized tutor. I prepare the materials I'll need during the session and have the student's homework corrected prior to our sessions so we can get through more information during each session. I also like to give my students practice tests, so the students have a feel for where they are at in their learning experience.Along with the subjects that I have already mentioned, I am also comfortable tutoring student who need help in elementary and middle school math, and general math for high school students. I am able to help out as a tutor in civil engineering as well.I've also attended Duke University, and currently live in Durham, North Carolina. As an alumna of both Duke and Kansas, it should come as no surprise that I enjoy watching college basketball! I also enjoy running, cooking, shopping, and playing with my dog.
