Graduated from UNC with BA in Economics and African Studies. I also completed pre-medical coursework and additional science courses, and I was involved in literature and writing clubs, courses, and competitions.

Experience

I tutored for two years for a family with three middle and high school students. I also tutored chemistry during both high school and college. My SAT score was a 1470 (on the 1600 scale), and my ACT score was a 34. I also received an A grade on every essay I wrote in college. I particularly enjoy essay writing and the type of analytical thinking that accompanies it, so I am happy to tutor in that area regardless of subject (English, history, anthropology, etc.).

Hobbies

I am currently living in Durham working part-time and finishing prerequisite courses for physical therapy school. I enjoy hiking, running, and playing with my dog. I also watch soccer and play pick-up several times a week. I read a lot and enjoy almost any type of book.
