Hello, I am a graduate of North Carolina State University. Choosing biomedical engineering as my major was easy because of my love for math and science. I have a lot of experience tutoring in several areas through both volunteer work and paid opportunities. I think having 3 younger brothers (18, 13, & 11 years old) has helped me develop the patience, maturity, and skill sets needed to tutor. Volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club several hours a week throughout high school has helped hone these skills. I was a paid tutor for high school students in Algebra I and geometry. All of the students I worked with saw significant improvements. Most recently, I helped a student go from a low 'C' to an 'A' in AP Calculus. He also received a 5 on the AP exam. I am comfortable with any age and would be more than happy to have a sit down meeting with the parent(s) and student to see if I would be the best catalyst to help the student achieve his or her full potential.
