Experience
I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds for over ten years as a teacher and tutor. I began my teaching career as an instructor for a reading enrichment program for learners from pre-k to college age. I taught students basic reading comprehension skills and study habits. During my masters and doctoral programs, I taught composition to college students and worked as a tutor in my university writing center. Since earning my doctorate in May of 2013, I have taught composition classes both in physical classrooms and online. I have helped hundreds of students become stronger, more effective writers, communicators, and critical thinkers.
