Education
UNC Chapel Hill '13, Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Literature and Cultures
Experience
I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in May of 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Literature and Cultures. I recently spent one year as the Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana and I current work as the Program Coordinator at the UNC Chapel Hill Visitors' Center! I tutored Spanish back in Indiana and I am trying to do the same here in Chapel Hill/Durham/Raleigh. I am currently tutoring an 11th grade student for a Spanish 4 class. I just completed a semester working with a college student for her introductory Spanish class. This student's grade improved from a failing grade to a "B". My favorite classes that I took in college were "Afro-Hispanic Linguistics" and "Cuba and the Diaspora". I enjoy tutoring students for their Spanish classes because I know how useful the language is here in the United States and around the world. Therefore, I like to help students understand it.
