Experience

I have a great passion for spreading knowledge, especially in mathematics, and for helping youth study in order to achieve their goal of obtaining a college education, whether that be in assisting in their high school studies, or in their more focused college prep classes and college entrance exams. I studied engineering at Vanderbilt with a heavy load in mathematics, science, and engineering courses, and therefore, have a wide breadth of knowledge in those areas. I have tremendous interpersonal skills, having served on the Vanderbilt Engineering Council for 4 years, and as President during my senior year. I am a great mentor for younger students and served as a mentor for 3 years in the School of Engineering. While at H.B. Plant High School, I was successful among my peers in academics and other extracurricular activities and took 14 AP classes while maintaining a 4.0 GPA unweighted. Due to these classes, I entered Vanderbilt with many credits and was able to jump ahead in my math classes at school.
