I've tutored students at all the local universities in the accounting concepts including: Duke University UNC - Chapel Hill North Carolina State University NCCU ECU Wake Tech Durham Tech I enjoy tutoring for two reasons, with one being more selfish than the other. I greatly enjoy seeing others succeed, but I also realize that when someone can teach someone a concept, that means that they know it very thoroughly. Also, as the first person in my family to attend university, helping people succeed in education hits close to home. I have taken and excelled in intermediate accounting, cost accounting, financial accounting, audit, etc. I have a lot of out of school experience as well in terms of finance and accounting from my various internships I have participated in. I have finance experience working with Scottrade, tax experience working with Maddison & Caison LLP, corporate accounting experience with Eaton Corporation, and audit experience working for KPMG LLP in Silicon Valley in Northern California.
