I have worked as an instructor for over 25 years. My teaching subjects have ranged from U.S. History to Economics and Anthropology. I've taught U.S. history as well. Other tutoring subjects include study skills, psychology, social studies, business, and SAT prep. I have taught at independent schools, museums, and at an urban public school. Recently, I obtained a master's degree in museum studies and have two other degrees in education. Other experiences that qualify me to tutor include being a competitive fencer and professional coach. I've also experienced various cultures which helps me connect with kids outside the classroom as well, with a custom-tailored approach.In addition to working one on one with students and helping them master learning, I enjoy sabre fencing, gardening, and reading in my free time. I live in Chicago, Illinois and attended Duke University and Harvard University.
