Education
I earned a BS in chemistry from the College of Charleston in May 2011. I earned a cumulative GPA of 3.43 and also participated in undergraduate research projects. I then went on to attend the University of Florida where I received a PhD in organic chemistry in 2016 (GPA: 3.76). I took graduate level classes in organic chemistry as well as biochemistry and polymer science.
Experience
I have over 10 years experience tutoring chemistry one-on-one. I ran Supplemental Instruction sessions for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry in my undergrad and taught organic chemistry lab during graduate school. Additionally, I have formal coaching training from the Coaches Training Institute. I am well-versed in working with students to learn content but also to develop better academic skills like time management and metacognitive thinking.
