Experience
I was a teaching assistant for 5 years combined at two major universities, The University of Kansas and Duke University. I taught both organic 1 and 2 labs and discussions so I've had experience with teaching these topics and answering questions in these areas since 2013. I have been actively tutoring this subject for ~ 2 years. I enjoy working in a laboratory setting and having hands on experience with chemistry, but teaching has always stolen my attention and is generally where I focus my free time. I really enjoy organizing information to make it easier for students to understand. I have compiled organic topics into 20 study PDFs to aid in presenting information or to give to students to help them study. I especially enjoy teaching spectroscopy (IR and NMR).
