I've a decade of professional experience, five years of teaching experience, and many years of experience as a volunteer. I work with students with language issues and learning disabilities, and I've also received instruction in how to help these students. When I tutor students, my priority is to make students confident in their ability, because I believe that students need confidence to develop learning skills they need to be successful. I can tutor subjects such as English, grammar, French, reading, writing, adult literacy, essays, AP language and composition, and other similar subjects. In my spare time, I enjoy making things, cooking and baking, being outdoors, kayaking, hiking, writing, and reading.

I enjoy making things. I love to bake and cook because it's a nice break from reading and writing. I also love to be outdoors. This summer I'm picking up kayaking, and hope to continue my passion for hiking and being out in outdoors with the natural chaos of peacefulness.
