I have a decade of tutoring experience, and I take great satisfaction in helping students achieve their academic potential and reach beyond their own goals. I went to the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill to earn my bachelor's degree in chemistry, graduating with highest distinction. I know firsthand that determination and effort in learning can pay off. My tutoring experience includes working with students at the middle school, college, and high school levels, and I've helped many students increase test scores and earn better grades. These successes inspire me as a tutor. My specialties as a tutor are preparation for the ACT, SAT, GRE, and MCAT. I scored in the top 1% on the ACT, SAT, and MCAT. I also enjoy tutoring science concepts, including advanced subjects like chemistry and biology at the college level. I know the sciences can be difficult to understand, but I excel in figuring out what students know and what they need to learn, and I put together a customized plan to push those students towards success. In my spare time, I like to read, backpack, and listen to music.
