I graduated from Stanford with honors in 2013. I was a pre-med student and majored in Human Biology. I am currently a combined MD/Master's student at Duke, with the eventual goal of being a neurosurgeon and clinical scientist. My academic hobbies include patient-doctor communication and biostatistics.
Experience
I've been a tutor in one form or another since 2006 and I love my students - and they love me too! I believe that education is the key to success, and that there is no shame in knowing when to ask for help from a tutor. Whether you're starting from nothing or just need a refresher, I am always patient and happy to spend as long as you need working through a tough topic. Hobbies
I'm far from home but I'm still a Florida girl born and raised - that means I love thunderstorms, alligators, and good old country cuisine! On a rainy day, you'll most likely find me halfway through a historical drama marathon with one hand wrapped around a mug of warm tea. If the weather is good I'm either on a run through scenic Durham or hiking one of the lovely local trails.
