B.S. from Saint Martin's University, majoring in Abstract Mathematics, with a sub-focus in Computer Science and Philosophical logic. I have taken the foundation sequence courses for Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Additionally, I have taken courses in Operating Systems Theory, C# programming, and advanced database design. Mathematically, I have taken the entire Calculus series through to multi-variate Calculus, including Potential Functions and Fundamental Line Theorem, Linear Algebra, Advanced Abstract Algebra, Euclidean and Non Euclidean Geometry, and Real Analysis, as well as the philosophy and history of mathematics.
Experience
I wrote a textbook for the Philosophy department to teach modal logic to philosophy and pre-law students. My particular academic specialty is analysis of logic, philosophy of mathematics, and philosophy of logic. I have officially been a Teacher Assistant ("TA") for college Calculus courses and periodically substitute teach Probability and Statistics (Calc-based) and Linear Algebra at my alma mater. I worked as an official university mathematics tutor for my entire undergraduate career. Lastly, I have 16 years' experience as a senior computer systems administrator and business intelligence analysis, am a US Army veteran with time in Afghanistan, and am also a mom. I'm tutoring to help get a little extra cash in my home.
