I have tutored various subjects since 2011, including: English, social studies, earth science, elementary math, reading comprehension, writing skills, college essays, etc. I am a certified teacher in both social studies and special education. I currently teach special education and English in Durham. One of my favorite activities is to read for pleasure. I enjoy science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction and many other genres of written material. I enjoy swimming and frequenting Jordan Lake during the summer months. I enjoy visiting the beach to go fishing and swimming in the ocean. I am a huge animal lover and enjoy hiking with my dog.
