I graduated from Duke University in May 2015 with a BA in Classical Civilization (mainly focused on Roman Studies, including 3 semesters of Latin), Certificate in Markets and Management Studies (a degree halfway between a major and minor in business) GPA 3.314. I have taken many different courses in lots of subjects, I particularly enjoy Classical Art and Archaeology.
Experience
I have tutored a little in music, I can play at least a note on 10 instruments (my main instruments being piano and trombone). I also tutored classmates in math while in high school. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching others what I know. I believe that teaching is a way to cement skills. Hobbies
I grew up in small town Minnesota and came to North Carolina for college. I enjoy reading books, my favorite author right now is Ted Dekker, and my favorite book is The Spirit Thief by Rachel Aaron (it's a fantastic book about a wizard). I am currently applying for graduate school. I hope to go to the UK for my studies focusing on Roman Art and Archaeology. I wish to create 3D models for museums so that others can interactively visualize the past as it once was. I love music, right now the most played band on my iPhone is the Piano Guys followed by Brian Cain and 2Cellos. I am trying to buy a piano because the little keyboard I have does not help me at all, and I miss playing.
